I watched an hour worth, then switched to Discovery Channel about Genghis Khan...

Couldn't with Deadwood and Carnivale on, I don't miss those shows for ANYTHING.

I did, it was pritty good, The "Making of" stuff at the end was a treat to.

Although it was fiction presented as facts, their theories were pretty weak. Trying to force a mythological creature into natural history's timeline didn't work for me at all. I wish they would have presented it more from the mythological angle.

I was amazed at how much info they were able to extrapolate off the dragon carcass using that little laptop. [img]wink.gif[/img]

The animations were pretty cool even though the pseudo science just wasn't there.

I thought it was pretty good, and Carnivale was on right after it, so we basically were watching tv for 3 hours solid.

I'm sure we'll see a svcd or dvd version posted on usenet within a day or so.. [img]wink.gif[/img]

And Carnivale kicked serious butt. I don't know how they are going to maintain another season of it though.

Id think they could wrap the whole thing up with one 4 hour movie.

I haven't watched it yet, as deadwood, carnivale, and robot chicken were all on last night. I did record it, though, so I'll probably watch it later this week when I get a chance.

Maybe I'm looking too far into it, but I thought it was just as sad and depressing as it was incredible. That mother dragon just couldn't catch a break. [img]frown.gif[/img]
